Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats

Austin, Texas born and raised, Hudson Harkins, songwriter, singer, drummer and bandleader, has led his band, Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats, through over 5,000 gigs since it’s inception in 1989.  During this time, Harkins has fronted the band through a multitude of club dates, concerts, festivals, casino and corporate events, as well as five studio albums.

After living in Austin for 39 years and touring Texas, the Midwest, and the U.S. and British Virgin Islands, Harkins decided to move to Saint Louis, Missouri in 1994 where his band has become quite successful.

Blending the influences of Texas rockin’ blues, country, rockabilly, and swing, with St. Louis’s historic soul, jump blues and groovin’ urban blues, in addition to many of Hudson’s original songs, have proven to play a key role in the band’s long success.

In recent years, Hudson has tapped on some of the finest musicians in the St. Louis area. His band is ever-evolving in different directions with a revolving set of all-star players.

Harkins and his Hoo Doo Cats can adapt to most any situation and has played for such high profile clients as American Airlines, Anheuser-Busch, Fox Sports Network, Ameristar Casinos, The National Baseball League, The British Virgin Islands Spring Regatta, countless municipal events, and many more.

Hudson and the Hoo Doo Cats’ experience, expertise, humor and class will help to make any event a success.

In November of 2009, Mendoza released his most recent albums, "You" and "Tu" in English and Spanish.

With 8 albums spanning ten years Javier demonstrates that he knows where he comes from and where he is going. On each CD he combines new influences, new musical inspirations and life experiences with the common thread of hope for the future. His dedication to creating new and different material and his passion for live performance keeps bringing the fans back again and again. Whether he's playing for 10 people or a crowd of 10,000, Javier makes each show unforgettable. The physical and emotional energy he delivers is truly amazing and must be experienced to be believed.

The approaching 10th anniversary of his first album, Tinta y Papel and reflection on his twelve year journey have inspired Javier to begin work on his 9th studio CD. Rather than focusing primarily on the future he is focusing on "Now" and how incredible the journey of life can be if you let it. For Javier living in the "Now" is about personal growth, working with great musicians, new fans, long time fans, and welcoming all that life has to offer without hesitation. Javier Mendoza Presents Hobo Cane

Javier Mendoza Presents Hobo Cane

Born as Javier Alberto Mendoza in the state of Virginia to a Spanish mother and Mexican/American father, Javier's love for music burned bright from a young age. He started his musical career joining Warner-Chappell as a staff writer in Miami, FL. There he spent his time writing tunes for mega pop sensations such as Enrique Iglesias, Juan David, Ricky Martin, Rosario and more. The ever-winding path of life took him to St. Louis where he saw musical success with his new following. In 2014, Mendoza moved to Music City, Nashville, TN where he is embarking on a project as Hobo Cane.

Hobo Cane was awarded a Telly Award in 2015 for Best Original Music in a docoumentary called "The Forsaken." He has also shared the stage with the likes of Chuck Berry, Los Lobos, Willy Nelson, Great Big World, and more. Most recently, Hobo Cane has found a warm songwriting community in Nashville with the Grammy-nominated Barry Dean as well as Grammy Award winners Luke Laird, Lori McKenna, and many others. Ever the dynamic performer, Hobo Cane has also performed alongside Nashville hit makers Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, Chris Tomlin, and Ben Folds, in addition to securing countless television and movie song placements.

Why Hobo Cane? "According to the critics, I've always been too Rock for Pop, too Pop for Alternative, too Anglo for Latin and even sometimes too Latin for Anglo. I think that's a good thing. A hobo is a transient and migrant worker. I've moved from place to place all my life, and I was raised among different cultures and languages. I think my songs are influenced and enriched by that diversity. I want to help destroy the stereotype of any music. My mother's last name is 'Cañas', which means 'Canes' in Spanish. So that's me... HOBO CANE.”

Jesse Gannon

Recently returning from a  European tour in October 2019, Gannon is currently writing new material. Songwriter/pianist/vocalist Jesse Gannon and his band combine the improvisational elements of soul, broken-beat, and post-bop grooves with a sophisticated harmonic palette, and garnish with introspective, unforgettably lyrical melodies. Gannon delivers a shockingly fresh and dynamic show brandishing a cast of fearless and exciting musicians. "If you don't want to be put into a genre, create one!"

As a pianist, vocalist, writer, producer, and arranger, Jesse Gannon has been deeply involved in the St. Louis music scene and abroad. In addition to earning his Bachelor's degree at Webster University and performing in many of the top musical venues in St. Louis, he has traveled and shared the stage with such notables as The Temptations, The O’jays, Steve Ewing of the Urge, The Four Tops, Najee, Mary Wells and the Supremes, India Arie, Brian Owens, and others. Although he is well versed in many genres, Jesse’s true voice can be best heard in an improvisational setting.

Along with keeping him busy in sessions and performances, 2019 brought a fresh 5-song self-titled EP release on the Yoruba Soul label. This is his third career release Including two singles released on Yoruba Soul in 2017, and the 2013 release of his debut full-length studio album "Future Vintage" on the now defunct Loud Label.

Joan Krueger

As a Certified Hypnotherapist, Joan Krueger has run a private practice in St. Louis since 1994. Everyone expects hypnosis to be something that he or she has seen on TV or in movies, but hypnosis is not mind control. People are awake and able to move around. You will often hear the state of hypnosis referred to as a "trance." That simply refers to a state of mind where a person becomes relaxed but their subconscious mind becomes susceptible to suggestions. Since a person who is in hypnosis is awake and aware of exactly what is going on, no one can ever be made to do anything that they don't want to do or that contradicts their values.

Joan's show is designed to make the audience the stars and the event organizers the heroes. Her show turns suggestions into reality. The shows are energetic, funny and will easily hold the audience's attention. Hypnosis stage shows can be a powerful tool for event planners who seek a fresh approach to motivation and team building or just good entertainment.

Joan has done hypnosis stage shows for many companies and organizations. All shows can be tailored to the specific requirements of the group or organization for the purpose of that event.
