Javier Mendoza Presents Hobo Cane

Born as Javier Alberto Mendoza in the state of Virginia to a Spanish mother and Mexican/American father, Javier's love for music burned bright from a young age. He started his musical career joining Warner-Chappell as a staff writer in Miami, FL. There he spent his time writing tunes for mega pop sensations such as Enrique Iglesias, Juan David, Ricky Martin, Rosario and more. The ever-winding path of life took him to St. Louis where he saw musical success with his new following. In 2014, Mendoza moved to Music City, Nashville, TN where he is embarking on a project as Hobo Cane.

Hobo Cane was awarded a Telly Award in 2015 for Best Original Music in a docoumentary called "The Forsaken." He has also shared the stage with the likes of Chuck Berry, Los Lobos, Willy Nelson, Great Big World, and more. Most recently, Hobo Cane has found a warm songwriting community in Nashville with the Grammy-nominated Barry Dean as well as Grammy Award winners Luke Laird, Lori McKenna, and many others. Ever the dynamic performer, Hobo Cane has also performed alongside Nashville hit makers Michael W. Smith, Jars of Clay, Chris Tomlin, and Ben Folds, in addition to securing countless television and movie song placements.

Why Hobo Cane? "According to the critics, I've always been too Rock for Pop, too Pop for Alternative, too Anglo for Latin and even sometimes too Latin for Anglo. I think that's a good thing. A hobo is a transient and migrant worker. I've moved from place to place all my life, and I was raised among different cultures and languages. I think my songs are influenced and enriched by that diversity. I want to help destroy the stereotype of any music. My mother's last name is 'Cañas', which means 'Canes' in Spanish. So that's me... HOBO CANE.”

Johnny Chase

Johnny Chase's solo debut, 801 Days, combines the drive of 90's rock with the emotional urgency of today's songwriters, delivering gritty and powerful vocals packed with passion. The collection of original tracks from this singer/songwriter/guitarist fills the musical bookends of love and loss that resonate with audiences coast-to-coast.

The visceral aspect of Chase's sound has attracted television and film companies, among them MTV, WB, and HBO. By Your Side, a rocking, high-energy number with a riff that grabs you from the beginning, and Breakdown, A triumphant song about never giving up hope, have both been used a total of 20+ times on the MTV hit show NEXT, while Fear to Fall, with its brooding vocals and thumping bass, has been included on HBO's Entourage Season 3 (Part 2) DVD, as well as used for the promo spots on HBO advertising the show and DVD. It has also been placed CW's CW Now and more recently on Tyra Banks Show, who continues to use his songs and Ellen GeGeneres. 801 Days spotlights 11 self-penned songs that are filled with first-hand feelings. The CD's title poignantly refers to the number of days Chase's young son lived. Originally written to facilitate his own healing after his son's death, Chase decided to record the songs for others to hear, hoping it would help listeners endure life's inevitable heartbreaks, large and small. The resulting CD is both introspective and exuberant, tracing the performer's journey through the mind-altering experience called life.

In addition to the songs heard on MTV, HBO, E, TBS, & CW, 801 Days includes I Can See Everything, a fan-favorite offering a supernatural sound that builds momentum with every guitar lick, and Breakdown, a melodic lesson in never giving up hope, which was the first song that had piqued the interest of MTV and is now also featured in the Indi film, "Fear Chamber". Son in the Sky, One More Day and On Top of the World all reflect on family and relationships and are dedicated to his son. Opened Up was recently added to the Warner Bros. TV library of songs to be used on their many shows. The CD ends lovingly with Heaven to Me, a passionate ballad written to Chase's wife.

Tim Session

Tim Session

Tim Session puts on a show unlike any other. Recording guitar, bass, and drum sounds (all live) into a looping machine, Session is a self-contained, one-man jam band. But Tim doesn't just use the looping machine, he plays it, incorporates it into his show like an instrument.

Tim's guitar style is heavily influenced by guitar phenoms Keller Williams and Michael Hedges. His songwriting and vocal styling is modeled after legends like Paul McCartney and Bob Marley. His lyrics reflect a continuously optimistic take on life and society. His songs are experimental and indie enough to connect with the thriving, underground music scene-yet catchy and mainstream enough to rank him easily among the finest undiscovered John Mayers and Jason Mraz's of the world. He has a stage show that is intimate enough for the smallest coffeehouses, yet powerful enough for much grander stages.
