Carol Daniel

Carol A. Daniel is a 40-year award-winning journalist and community activist with a distinguished 28-year career at KMOX Radio in St. Louis. During her time at KMOX, she also hosted Great Day St. Louis on KMOV/Channel 4 and spent nearly a decade as an award-winning columnist for the St. Louis American. The National Newspaper Association honored her twice for her humor columns.
Carol has been recognized as a member of the YWCA Women’s Leader Class and was selected to Delux Magazine's Power 100. She has been honored as a "Living Legend" by the National Association of Black Journalists of St. Louis and was recently inducted into both the Lincoln University Alumni and St. Louis Media Halls of Fame.
After retiring from KMOX, she took on two new roles: Senior Producer and Host of the podcast, "Listen, St. Louis with Carol Daniel" on NINE PBS, and she is the Director of the Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis' Save Our Sisters Empowerment program. Her podcast earned a Regional Emmy nomination less than a year after it launched.
Carol is also an author and motivational speaker who is passionate about empowering others.
