Bio

Angela Giancola was born deaf in one ear and hard of hearing in the other.

Before she heard her voice in her early 20s, Angela learned American Sign Language (ASL) to develop her speech, which opened the door to explore her passions such as dancing through vibrations, modeling with elegance, acting with expressions, and traveling.

In 2009, Angela returned home to St Louis and dove into the world of hospitality and entrepreneurship, co-owning multiple restaurants and retail ventures alongside her business and life partner.

In 2025, Angela is channeling her experience and energy into expanding accessibility through ASL in Media, Entertainment and Theatre, and the Performing Arts. Her mission: to make communication inclusive for all, and to perform ASL in spaces where Deaf and hard-of-hearing communities feel a sense of belonging.
