Alejandra Gollas is a completely bilingual actress who received an Ariel Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress—the Mexican equivalent of an Academy Award—for her role in Efectos Secundarios (Side Effects), the first Warner Brothers premium feature produced and filmed entirely in Mexico.
She began her career as a child actress on the Mexican stage, rising to prominence at age 11 with her acclaimed portrayal of Helen Keller in The Miracle Worker. She later became a national phenomenon for her role as Adrianita in the groundbreaking telenovela Quinceañera.
In the award-winning short film Liminal, directed by Stephen Keep Mills, Alejandra earned Best Actress honors at the Tregor Film Festival, the Levante International Film Festival, and the Festival du Film de Strasbourg.
Her recent film credits include Fidel, El Viaje de la Nonna, 31 Días, Pulling Strings, and Compulsion. Love Is Not Love, also directed by Stephen Keep Mills, marked her first lead role in an English-language feature. The film had its world premiere at the Cinequest Film Festival in March 2020.
Alongside her theatrical career, she has worked as a bilingual voiceover artist for major global brands including Amazon, Target, El Pollo Loco, Downy, Diet Coke, Disney, and T-Mobile, among many others.
